Blues flick one past Faisal 5/10/2009
Wa All Stars ended their drawing run after recording an important home in the match-day-17 Glo Premier League fixture at the Wa Park.

The game ended 1-0 for All Stars, who have conceded the least number goals, 10 in the premiership after 17 round of matches.

The Blues managed a lone second half goal against King Faisal, who were placed second before the 15:00 GMT kick off match.

The second half winner ensured that Blues moved to fifth place on the table, thus one point ahead of defending champions, Asante Kotoko.

The win at home would put All Stars in good stead ahead of their midweek travel down south.
